RMF Internet Privacy Statement

Summary

This notice describes Reverse Mortgage Funding LLC’s (“RMF”) online privacy practices and applies to anyone who visits our websites. It explains how we may collect information from you online when you visit an RMF website and how we may protect and use that information.

Information that you provide to RMF when you apply for or obtain a product or service from us to be used primarily for personal, family or household purposes is also governed by a separate document entitled “RMF Privacy Notice”. Collecting Information

RMF may collect information about you when you browse our website or use our online services. We may collect technical information about your browser and the pages that you visit. For example, we may collect your internet protocol address, which is a numerical identifier assigned to a computer or device that connects to the internet. Email and Email Addresses

We collect your email address when you provide it by submitting an information request through the RMF website. RMF will never sell your email address. We will only use your address to communicate with you regarding the servicing of your accounts or to make you aware of products and services that may be of interest to you.

When you send RMF an email, we may retain your message and our response for quality assurance purposes. It is important to remember that regular (non-encrypted) email is not secure. If you are sending us any personal or account information, please only do so through secure email.

RMF Online Services

RMF may offer its customers a variety of online account services. When you register for those services, we will provide you with specific terms and conditions that may supplement the information in this notice. If you set your browser to reject cookies, you may not be able to use some RMF online account services.

Online Information Requests

We collect information from you when you request certain information or fill out an online application for a new product or service (loans, etc). All online information requests and applications are encrypted to maintain the security of your information.

We may use the information you provide on surveys and for promotions on our web site for marketing purposes, including development of web site content and services you may find helpful. In addition, we may attempt to make you aware of products and services from RMF based on the information you provide to us.

Planning Tools and Calculators

Information that you input on the web site while using any of our planning tools and calculators is not captured, stored or used in any way other than to provide you with the information you're looking for at the time you use the tool or calculator. These calculators were built only for the purpose of helping you understand your financial options, enabling you to explore various scenarios and "what if" calculations for items like loan payments and retirement planning.

Children's Information

We recognize the importance of protecting the privacy of children online, and we comply with the requirements of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act that are applicable to us. We do not collect personal information from consumers under the age of thirteen.

Sharing Information

We may share information that we collect online with companies within the RMF family, and with trusted third parties. Third party service providers with whom we share identifiable information are contractually obligated to keep the information confidential and to use the information only to provide the services we have asked them to perform.
